Happy New Year!!!!

My daddy worked all New Year's eve so we spent New Year's day relaxing and walking around the neighborhood with my puppy, Jack.  Oh and by the way I wanted to end 2011 right and started crawling New Year's eve :)

Goodbye 2011

 Claire wanted to wear her Christmas hair bow one last time for New Year's Eve.

 Then she wanted to wear this really cool hat from Great Aunt Linda.  Isn't it cute!

 This is what Claire looked like the last time she was in her car seat in 2011. . .

 and this was the first.

Even I forget how small our little baby was until I look back and see the pictures, 2011 was a stressful and amazing year,

 but we also remember the sweet angel Gabriella who went to Heaven in 2011.

Then after we got home from babysitting Grandma and Granddad Rice were there to greet us. 

 While Granddad took my mommy to the grocery store for food, I stayed home with grandma.  This is what I what looked like when they left. . . and this is also what I looked like when they came home an hour later (came picture).  I guess I was tired!

 Then while mommy and Grandma organized, I played in the storage containers. 

 I'm a happy girl when people come to visit me. 

 I had fun playing with an ornament my Great Aunt Janice made.

 Notice I have mommy's hair, ha ha!



Off to work we go

 Another fun thing we did last was babysit for my friend Christy's adorable 2 year old Gabe.

 How cute is Gabe, and he was a very good listener!  See his cute Pottery Barn kids chair, Claire is hoping to get the green and white polka dot one that matches her drapes with her name in pink.  It's the perfect comfy kid sized chair. 

 Wow Gabe has some fun toys!!!!

 But this pink ring from home is her very favorite,

  or maybe her favorite is annoying her mommy by pulling out her flower.

They both enjoyed hearing Gabe's books.  It was a very fun day!

Christmas continues

 Claire's friend Ryleigh came over last week for a gift exchange and some fun playtime.  The girls decided both wanted the same pink ring.

 It was funny to watch them pass it back and forth.

  Claire got a very cute and fun tea set that plays music.
