Almost birthday party time

The window for uploading pictures has been weird all week so I just figured I would write a little something about what we've been up to lately.  Today we are spending the day baking cupcakes for Claire's 2nd birthday party tomorrow.  Can you believe she is going to be 2?!?!?  I had to laugh this morning which we were checking out at the grocery store the clerk commented that we must be having a party.  I told her it is Claire's birthday party.  She turns to Claire who is walking and holding my hand and says, "You must be excited for your big 1st birthday."  I just laughed and said no it's her 2nd birthday.  I know Claire still weighs less than most 1 year olds, but I really think she looks more like a 2 year old.


Baby Charlotte is doing well and looking like she gets to stay inside of me longer than Claire.  I am currently 28 weeks and 2 days pregnant.  At this point with Claire I was already miserable, sick and in the hospital.  Claire was 1 lb 13 oz at birth and as of Monday Charlotte is already weighing in at 2.5 lbs (it took Claire well over a month to reach that milestone).  I am showing no signs of pre-eclampsia!!!  The problem now is that amniotic fluid is low, so I have to drink at least 100ml of water a day (6 big water bottles, oh yes it is fun).  My iron levels are also low so I have to start taking an iron supplement.  I have another ultrasound Monday to check on the fluid levels.
