New Shoes!

 Claire was very excited to get new shoes!  As soon as I put them on her, she was off and running!

 They are the Target brand of Robeez (about half the price, but still leather).  They have a soft sole and are size 0-6 months.  It has been a challenge to find Claire shoes because most 0-6 month shoes are designed to just look cute, not for an active walker to wear. 

 Here Claire is trying to put her hair bow on her baby :)

 Ah, ba ba time.  Notice Claire also made sure her babies got their yellow bottle too.

New toys and Lots of Fun

 Tuesday Candace and Eli were nice enough to invite us over to their new house.  Claire LOVED Eli's huge playroom and had a great time running back and forth in all of the open space.  She also had fun playing with Eli, Kayla and Brooks. 

 It's so much fun checking out new toys!

 Claire thought the mirror was very exciting and kept smiling at the pretty baby.  In teh 2nd picture she is trying to kiss the baby in the mirror. 

 As you can see we are still working on sharing, ha ha.

 Eli is lucky enough to have a cool chair like Claire's and his mommy says he loves it too.  Brooks is checking it out, I think he wants one when he turns one in July!

Splish Splash, A bath outside????

 Claire's friend and our neighbor Savannah, invited Claire over for a swim yesterday night.

 Claire loves baths, but she's never been in an outside pool before.  She was very confused. 

 Claire thought it was funny that Savannah's dog took a drink from the pool. 

 Claire seemed to like the pool better when she was in it by herself, as you can see from the look on her face when she realized Savannah had gotten back in. 

Look at all that hair on her friend, we are very jealous.  Savannah is only 12 months.

I don't think she's going to look like a preemie much longer, check out her tummy after dinner tonight.  I think her eyes were bigger than her stomach though, because shortly after this picture was taken she spit up.  Her dinner included English muffin pizza, fruit cocktail, cheese, and animal crackers.  Claire's eating habits have changed a lot lately.  I can't find anything she doesn't like.  She loves chicken, pork chops and  hamburger meat.  She will even eat lots of veggies :)  Don't worry though, she still LOVES her sugar :)

The BEST chair EVER

After several months of being on back order, Claire's birthday chair finally arrived last week.  It was well worth the wait; she LOVES it.  I bought it to match her room, but we've been keeping it in the family room because she wants to sit in it and climb on it all the time.  It's funny that she knows it is her chair.  If we try to sit in it she grabs our hand and pulls us out.

 Claire's new favorite thing is to have one paci in her mouth, one paci in her hand, and her baby in her other hand. 

 This is the bear Claire built last week. 

 "Yay, I love my chair!!!!!"  Thanks Nana and Pop Bowlby, Grandma and Grandpa Bowlby, Aunt Linda and Uncle Mel and Aunt Nancy and Uncle Lauren for the birthday money my mommy used to buy the chair :)
