Claire's cousin Isabella was nice enough to share her dress with Claire. This was Isabella in the dress for her 1st Easter. Claire wished she had that much hair!!!!!
These are pictures from a couple weeks ago when Claire was getting ready to go to her yearly eye exam. She did great and the doctor said everything looked perfect.
Now as for today. . .
My poor baby is still sick :( The cold is gone and she is fever free, but her ears are still filled with fluid. We went back to the doctor today because Claire refused to take her medicine. The doctor said since her ears were still so bad she wanted to give Claire an antibiotic shot and another one tomorrow. Claire was less than thrilled with the news. It made me so sad to hear the screams that came from her tiny body when the needle went into her leg. She kept pointing at the needle container, crying and shaking her head no, no, no. On the plus side she didn't cry or struggle when the nurse took her temperature or the doctor listened to her lungs.
As for weight Claire lost an ounce (which isn't too bad considering she didn't eat hardly anything Friday). As of today she weighs in at 15lbs 13 oz. The shot made her very sleepy. She already took a 2 hour morning nap and is currently working on a 2 hour afternoon nap. Here's to hoping she wakes up on the right side of the crib and in a good mood.

Hopefully the 2 days of shots did the trick! Claire looks sooooooo cute in that sundress. Isn't it great that she has a sweet big cousin who likes to share? I'm sure more cute outfits are on the horizon!
