We did LOTS of baking for Claire's birthday party and she was a big help. Trying to eat the butter stick was a favorite. A big thanks to my mom for making my favorite cupcakes for all of Claire's party guest and to my dad for pounding out the sugar cookies. I made the batter Saturday morning and let it sit in the refrigerator overnight (I usually only refrigerate it for a couple hours). It was a rock on Sunday morning and my dad had to work really hard to make each cookie. Can you believe a year ago Claire only weighed as much as 6 sticks of butter (now it's 54).
